We have a range of sports codes in which we are becoming increasingly successful. This has long been a tradition of Porirua College and one in which we encourage all students to become involved.

We also have a leadership development focus in our senior school. Students are trained in peer mediation, peer mentoring and other leadership skills. Two of our heads of school usually undertake an Outward Bound course which further shapes their leadership capability.
