HEALTH CLINIC
Porirua College has a
Health Service for its students. You can go there for anything to do
with your health. This includes any injury, illness or health-related
problem. You may also use the Heath Service if you think you feel a
bit stressed out. If you don't feel well, or are worried about your
health, you can use the Health Service. You can bring a friend or
family member along with you, for support, if you want to.
The Health Service is:
Staff working at the Health Service wish to give you the best possible
health care. They are there to help you.
To
use the Health Service, students will need to make an appointment with the
office. Please check the clinic times on the Nurse's clinic door.
FREE DENTAL CARE
All students are entitled to FREE dental (teeth) care, while they go to school
(until their 18th birthday).
To
receive this FREE treatment, they must enrol with a dentist who provides
this service.
